Grocery Shopping Tips

  • Everyone should be getting prepared with enough food, medicine, and supplies to spend at least two weeks in self-isolation. Grocery stores and retail stores that are considered essential will remain open and you will notice new precautions in the stores. Keep 2 meters between yourself and other shoppers. Frequently wash hands with soap or use hand sanitizer. Only send one person from your house, who does not have any symptoms, to gather supplies. Elders and those at high-risk, or anyone self-isolating should avoid public places like grocery stores. Offer to do an elder's shopping and drop it off at their doorstep, you could be saving their life.
