• Lytton First Nation has been working on Agricultural Development since 2017 to 2023. During this time a 2 acres garden was started and vegetables were successfully grown, harvested, and used for food security purposes, for elders and other community members. Some of the vegetables were sold at a local farmers market.
• The Project trained and employed from 4 to 7 members of the community in crop selection, planting, weeding, watering, pest control, and harvesting.
• The past year the project was successful in the erection of a 30 by 100 foot greenhouse. This facility enabled the project to grow a variety of vegetables in a warmer environment.
