Yekm Food Hub
Once complete, the Yekm Food Hub will have a food processing facility and a market with fresh, local produce for sale. The food hub will be located beside the Battlefield Community Kitchen.
The food hub will help revitalize the Nlaka’pamux lifestyle, strengthen local food security, create good-paying jobs, and strengthen solidarity among our members.
28-Home Subdivision
This 28-home subdivision will provide housing for members displaced by the 2021 Lytton Creek wildfire.
The subdivision will be located on Nuuautin 2B, which is close to many LFN neighborhoods, Battlefield Community Hall, the Health Centre, and Highway 1.
Community Assets
The 2021 Lytton Creek Wildfire destroyed our band office, memorial hall, Rosie Skuki facility, and housing field office. We're committed to rebuilding all these facilities with resiliency and sustainability at the top of our minds.
